Progressions Success Story – Tyler

Tyler spent this year on the Employability course in Leeds.

Despite extenuating circumstances, which made it difficult for Tyler to attend her course full time she didn’t let it affect her studies. Tyler has worked consistently hard whilst attending college and even when she missed some college days, Tyler worked with her tutor and took some self-study work home to complete which she returned for marking at her next class session, so not only did she keep up with everyone in the class, was often one of the furthest ahead.

Tyler was one of the first to finish her main qualification, she then continued and finished the last of her units for the extended certificate, in lockdown, via Google classroom.

Tyler also passed 2 levels of Functional Skills maths, her Level 1 English and several short courses all aimed at helping her progress and be successful in her career aspirations.

Moving forward; Tyler knows what she wants to do with her career and has a plan to best achieve her goals. If it wasn’t for Covid-19, she would have been applying for apprenticeships and jobs by now!

It is really apparent to all of us here at Progressions that Tyler has the positive mind set and drive to succeed with her career goals and she now has the platform to become the Estate Agent she has always aspired to be.

Well done Tyler!
