LifeSkills once again makes the Sunday Times 100 List!
LifeSkills, and our sister company Progressions UK are delighted to announce that we finished 52nd in the Sunday Times Top 100 small
companies’ category. We achieved the highest place of any independent training provider in the competition.
There was also an 11th placing in the top 25 education companies to work for in the UK and an ‘outstanding’ rating awarded by Best Companies for staff engagement.
Some of the key results presented as part of the assessment were:
• 93% of staff believe the leader of this organisation runs this organisation based on sound moral principles.
• 98% of staff believe I can make a valuable contribution to the success of this organisation.
• 91% of staff agreed that the experience they gain from their job is valuable for their future.
Managing Director Nick Bailey stated ”we are absolutely delighted to achieve a Top 100 placing and be recognised as the leading independent training provider to work for in England. Our teams across the sites in Rotherham, Leeds, Basildon and Lowestoft work tremendously hard to create brighter futures for our learners, and by making our organisation inclusive and supportive we aim to help to also create brighter futures for our people”.
Co-owner and Director Spencer Fearn was also delighted with the result and stated “we work tremendously hard as an organisation to give all our teams a voice in how the business is run as we see it as a team effort. These placings are a great reflection on the work we are doing and will continue to do so that LifeSkills/Progressions becomes an even greater place to work.
