Well done LifeSkills Basildon for holding a fundraiser in aid of all ‘victims’ of the recent and terrible bushfires in Australia

On Monday, 20th, the learners held an ‘Australia Day’ fundraiser at the Basildon LifeSkills centre and all all proceeds raised will be sent to the victims of the devastating bushfires.

Staff and learners took part and made animal pouches for the displaced animals and the learners asked sponsors to donate to the cause. There were also hot dogs and snacks for which staff and learners made donations.

In total £200.27 was raised for the worthy cause and lots of animal pouches were made and will be sent to aid the displaced animals.

Again, well done to all who took part and raising such a fine amount for the charity.
