Customer Service traineeship
As a customer service traineeship, you’ll need clear and up-to-date knowledge of your organisation’s products and services and be able to communicate with all sorts of people.
Duties will vary between sectors, but in most cases you’ll be making sure that customers are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way – whether that’s by offering advice, answering questions or handling complaints.
A traineeship is a programme that combines education and training with work experience, and is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for.
Traineeships are very flexible, and LifeSkills/Progressions UK work closely with you the employer to deliver programmes which suit both the needs of your business and those of the learner.
Our traineeships last up to 14 weeks and include the following key elements:
- Work preparation training provided by LifeSkills/Progressions UK
- English and maths support as required, provided by LifeSkills/Progressions UK
- A high-quality work experience placement with a suitable employer
You will also get the chance to get some local work experience and help you put what you have learnt on the course into practice and get that vital experience on to your CV.
So no matter what type of business you want to work in, a traineeship could be your first step in helping you get your first job or getting an apprenticeship.
