Not sure what you want to do?

Easy, we have a range of vocational qualifications you can do at level one and two, all designed to prepare you for that next step whether it’s getting a job, or carrying on your studies in an Apprenticeship or College course.

Left or due to leave year 11 in June and have to stop in learning, but don’t want to go back to School or college?

Perfect, a LifeSkills Study Programme is nothing like School, you can carry on in learning and work towards things that you want to do or need to help you get into the world of work.

If any or all of this sounds like you, then a LifeSkills Study Programmes is exactly what you need.

Where do I sign?

As long as you are aged 16-18, not at School or college or working no more than 10 hours per week then you are eligible. You will need your prove it with your Birth Certificate, passport or Driving Licence and your National Insurance Number. Then off you go. You will normally attend for 16 hours each week with courses generally between 6-12 months, however if you get an Apprenticeship or a job in this time that’s even better as it’s all about you.

Sound too good to be true? It gets better... if you attend every day then you can earn an allowance of up to £40 a month. On top of that if you try your hardest then you could be the training centre learner of the month or even better the overall LifeSkills learner of the month and get yourself a top prize. And guess what? You also get your travel paid. Result.

“What has particularly impressed me about the way LifeSkills work, is their ability to treat everyone as an individual. They recognise different skills and strengths, and work on these whilst also helping people recognise and improve any weaknesses. They've recognised the issues within our industry and implemented training that tackles these directly.”
