Apprenticeship in Retail Skills

This could help you turn a job in a shop into a career in retail. It's for people involved with storage and ordering stock, preparing products for sale and looking after customers.

If you're employed at the moment, you'll work with a trainer to put a training programme together so you're learning about the areas that interest you. You'll have to show you can be responsible for your work and work as part of a team. Your trainer will visit to see you working and to chat about the things you're learning.

If you're not currently working, we'll find you an employer as part of our commitment to help more young people access apprenticeships. And, once you're in employment you'll break off for one day a week to return to LifeSkills to work on the technical aspects of Retail and other essential skills.
