At Lifeskills we work with young people to give them a better future. Programmes tailored to the individual allow them to work at their own pace, receiving support and guidance every step of the way. It isn't about giving them an easy ride. It's giving them the chance to gain real qualifications and experience, so they have the skills and the confidence to go out into the workplace.

And it works. Over 75% of young people on our London and Essex courses went into a job or an apprenticeship. Lifeskills has been recognised as the UK's leading learning provider in London and Essex for the last three years.

Our courses include Business and Administration, Childcare, Construction, Customer Service, Hair & Beauty, Motor Vehicle, Nail & Beauty, and Retail Skills. But we don't only provide skills in specific areas. Individuals also improve functional skills in Maths, English and ICT, get practical help with CVs and interview technique, and engage in activities promoting personal and social development.

One of the most important areas of these courses is the opportunity to gain work experience. Tesco's, Suffolk Libraries and Poundstretchers are just a handful of the companies who currently engage with Foundation Learning. They recognise that as well as providing a great learning experience for young people, they can learn a lot from it too.
